Finally, the weather is changing and we’re starting to see some beautiful spring days. If you haven’t already, then it’s time to fire up the BBQ or Braai and enjoy cooking and eating in the garden! To help you with your outdoor cooking, I’ve now created a dedicated page on the Ben’s Biltong website for all of my BBQ and Braai products. This week is National Butchers week, so I thought I’d share a bit of information about the fabulous butcher I use for my biltong and droewors. Ben's Meat & Heat Emporium opens this weekend in the basement of 29 Portland street in Leamington Spa, CV32 5EZ. You'll find my South African snacks as well as a range of other delicious artisan snacks and drinks. Ben's Meat & Heat Emproium will be open on weekends, Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 11am-4pm.

The Coronavirus pandemic has had a huge impact on all of us and small business has been no exception. Many small businesses have been forced to close while others have had to adapt their businesses to the new circumstances. Once upon on a time in a town called Warwick there lived a famous biltong maker named Ben. Ben lived in a huge castle with his wife and two dogs and spent his days making delicious biltong and droewors for all the people of the land.
